Rich colours and detail of the vegetation in the foreground (especially) seems to float in the soft pillow of flowing water – nicely done.
I’m new to the blog, & don’t know if your exposure etc. details are linked. So, let me guess: could be as much as 1 second exp, a medium dof and low ISO …? There is so much clear detail across a range of light I’m wondering if you used HDR or a similar technique. Not knowing your editing software, it’s a wild guess. Anyone else want to add in? Myself, I’m using Lightroom, recently acquired v6 free-standing and still finding my way around my OMD-E M5 Mk II – much to learn!

Peter thanks for the kind comments. To answer your question, I used ISO 200, 12mm (24mm full frame equivalent) focal length, aperture at 7.1 and 25 sec. shutter speed. In order to accomplish the long shutter speed I used a 10 stop ND filter. Most of my editing is done in LR and final cleanup in PS CC (no HDR).

Aha! the 10 stop ND filter is the pivotal bit – good thought. I ha used such a filter to use the LiveComp feature in daylight – it gives some interesting ‘painterly’ effects to landscape shots. I’ll have a look around more in your blog. Thanks.
