On October 9th we are doing a photography workshop at the amazing State Theatre Center for the Arts. This is a once a year opportunity to photograph this iconic historic facility. We will have full access to the beautiful theatre. The day will start with a brief presentation and then we will move to the main theater where we will discover many hidden gems. Mushroom Monday My hike up to Bake Oven Knob did not disappoint

Ghost Plantation During my visit to Charleston SC, I wanted to photograph the live oak trees with the Spanish moss at some of the iconic entrances to the plantations

. But, I wasn’t completely happy with the conventional results because the tourist spots were crowded and very manicured. This image is from an old entrance to a plantation that no longer exists and was taken just as the sun started to rise.
