Architecture & the Art of Graphic Elements (Out w/ rule book)

On March 16th I will be presenting in person to the Lehigh Valley Photography Club. My presentation will be on Architecture and the session will be at 7:00 PM. I know that a lot of my followers are outside of the Lehigh Valley and so for this upcoming presentation, the Lehigh Valley Photography Club is allowing me to promote this session for non-members to join in person or Zoom. There is a $10.00 fee to register and the good news is, if you can’t make the date/time on March 16th, the session will be available for you to view for up to 4 weeks from March 16th. I hope that you will consider joining me for this session virtually or in person. For more info or to register, click here:

Atmospheric Magic In Promised Land State Park

In this video, I am going to take you to Promised Land State Park (PA), an area I have wanted to get to and am glad I finally did. When I arrived at the park the temperatures were 5 degrees F below zero. As I started my hike, the weather was no longer a factor because I was presented with an enchanted beautiful environment. There was a blanket of clouds that created a magical ethereal effect. Between the cold temperatures and the water flowing, the affect that was created was mystifying. I hope you enjoy my journey through the frigid temperatures and to see the result of what I will say is my favorite image to date in 2023. Please check out the video & let me know your thoughts:

Grounds For Sculpture

In this video I will share my experience photographing and filming at the Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton New Jersey. This is an absolutely amazing cultural facility with both large and small sculptures. I have photographed here during the day in the past. But, recently I visited the complex during their evening “Night Forms” event. The experience was amazing but challenging from the low light aspect. Here I put my camera gear to the test by using the highest ISO settings I have ever used during a photoshoot. YouTube video:

OM-5 In the Dolomites & My Impressions

In this video, I will share my thoughts and impressions on the new OM-5 camera from OM System. I will share my experiences along with images from this camera and some of the associated specifications. I will also highlight some of the computational features I use. The imagery shown in this video is a small sampling of approximately 10 days in the Italian Dolomites. All of the images were shot using this camera.

The lenses I used with the OM-5 are the M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm F4.0 PRO, M.Zuiko ED 12-100mm f4.0 IS PRO and M.Zuiko ED 40-150mm F4.0 PRO.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the OM System (Olympus) products, please consider using my link. I receive a small commission if you do so. Olympus Digital Cameras

In keeping with the Halloween theme today, I thought I would post a few images from when I was hiking on a trail above Lehigh University. This area is know as the Lehigh Millennium Folk Arch and Art Enclave. And yes, they have been heavily edited.

Giving Pond – Landscapes and Butterflies

One of my favorite places to photograph is the Giving Pond in Bucks County, PA. My plan was to capture some early morning fog. But I ended up having to change plans. Check out the short adventure and the final results. Check out the video HERE

Don’t Fall

I had an amazing opportunity to spend some time in the various swamps on the border of Texas & Louisiana. This is one of the early morning shots of the beautiful fog on the water. It only lasts for a very brief time. More to come.
