Auschwitz, Poland

I had the opportunity to travel to Poland, a little over a week ago, with my wife and 15 high school students from our church. Our work project was in the town of Lodz (I plan to share some of the project work images soon). Prior to arriving in Lodz, we were able to schedule a day trip to Auschwitz. This is place every human being in the world should see. Words can not explain the impact of this place. Nor can any one photograph depict the pain and suffering that must have occurred. I purposely produced these images in black & white. That is how my mind saw this place.

Your black and white photography is awesome. Thanks for sharing!

These images impacted me like I’d been punched in the gut. And that’s coming from a typical jaded photographer guy who looks at way too many pictures. The black and white treatment is very effective here. Excellent in every way.

Frank, these are very powerful images. I am glad you took the color out.
