Lancaster – The Amish Tour

This past weekend was one of the nicest in November and fortunately I (along with my good friends Brad & Betsy) had a trip planned to head to Lancaster County in the heart of Amish country. Because it was so nice there were more people out than would normally be the case for this time of the year.

    Frank –
Your images are wonderful and absolutely capture the memories of the day! Knowing how some of these were photographed, and the challenges involved, really is a testament to your skill as a photographer. The black and white conversions are a perfect compliment on the Amish life images! I hope we can return to Lancaster County for another photo adventure soon!

Absolutely wonderful! The b&w’s are so beautiful and colors so brilliant.

I frequently visit Amish country in northern Indiana. To see the simple and unhurried life of these people is inspiring. Thanks for sharing these photos.

You’ve been busy lately – as always, some fantastic new stuff! I love the shots from Amish country, especially the “pitcher” (almost as amazing as Betsy’s volleyball shot! http://www.betsydallasphoto.com/Lancaster%20County%20Nov%202010.html). and I’m sure that Brad taxed his memory card by taking at least 1.5 pictures too…
