Saucon Valley Barn Tour

Last month I attended the annual Saucon Valley Barn tour. This is the same organization I did the workshop with in spring. We had fabulous weather and a wonderful time. It is amazing to see some of the eclectic furnishings in some of the converted barns. The one home had huge sampling of Chinese art work (I wasn’t expecting to see that in a converted barn). The same home had a glass piece imbedded into the floor. It caught my eye and I included two images of the piece. When you look at the two images they are one in the same. One shot was taken from the first floor looking down towards the basement and the other taken from the basement looking up. I later learned the glass piece was used in sailing ships in the 1800’s to create light in the ship’s hull.

Thanksgiving

There is so much to be thankful for. We were blessed with a beautiful Thanksgiving day. A great way to start the day was a crisp morning hike and the scenery did not disappoint.

Autumn Snow

It’s hard to believe we had snow before Halloween this year. Even though we didn’t have any electricity last week for 4 days after the storm, I was able to get to out and capture some of the scenery. It is the first time I can remember seeing snow on the autumn leaves. Let’s hope this is not an indication of what is yet to come.

Vibrant New York

I was at my annual excursion to PDN in New York last week. Of course, while one is there, you have to do some street photography. If only there were more hours in the day.

Clover Hill (The Shoot)

A little late but here are a few images from the Clover Hill Winery shoot. I have been out of town for a couple weeks (photo shoot in Kolkata & Bhutan – stay tuned).
