This is the final in a series of 4 posts that I started on Monday. As part of my visit to Seattle, I wanted to make an effort to stop by the EMP Museum (Experience Music Project). The building was designed by Frank O. Gehry. He was influenced by the electric guitar and that was the basis for the fundamental design of the building. EMP’s exterior conveys all the energy and fluidity of music. I spent a couple days here and could have easily spent a couple more. One of the interesting aspects of photographing here is the building changes as the sunlight moves.

Seattle (Post 4 of 4) EMP Museum
This is the 3rd in a series of 4 posts that I started on Monday. During my visit to Seattle, I took some extra time to visit and explore the Chihuly Garden and Glass facility located next to the Space Needle. I love all types of glass artwork. This place is the pinnacle of some of the most absolutely amazing glass art I have ever seen. If you are ever in the Seattle area it is an absolute “must see”.

Seattle (Post 1 of 4)
This past fall I had the opportunity to do a couple of workshops for Glazer’s Camera and Amazon in Seattle, Washington on behalf of Olympus. I had not been there in 20+ years. I must say, I was more than impressed. The people were friendly, the weather was great and the environment, in general, was fantastic. I extended my stay by a couple of days and was glad I did. I’m looking forward to going back. I am going to break the Seattle posts into four (General, Graphic, Chihuly & EMP). This first post will be general overviews and landscapes.
