I shot these images a little over a week ago & visited the same location yesterday. What a difference a week makes. There were absolutely no leaves left. Mother nature can be quick and abrupt.
A couple of weeks ago during InVision Photo Festival, I was invited to photograph with a group from Olympus in Jim Thorpe. They made arrangements for us to travel on the Lehigh George Scenic Railway and afterwards, we walked through the beautiful town. We had an amazing time and it was great to meet all of the Olympus photographers who traveled here for the event. We were catching the tail end of the fall foliage and were not disappointed.
About two weeks prior to the trip I received my new Olympus OM-D E-M1 and the day before the trip I received the brand new Zuiko 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO lens. This was the first time I had the two paired together and what a sweet combination it was.
Every year I look forward to this event. To see and learn about all new things occurring in the photographic world. This year was no exception. It was great to catch up with all the folks from my favorite booth, Olympus. I also enjoy the opportunity to shoot all the colors and diversity of New York.
