This video details my visit to Steamtown, USA. This place is an assembly of vintage trains and period associated railroad structures. This is part of the National Park service. The images include daytime Live Composite, gritty rust and abstract compositions. I share my setup and some of my settings.

Two weekends ago I had the honor of leading a workshop in Jim Thorpe, PA for Dan’s Camera that was sponsored by Olympus. The event was sold out, the group was fantastic and we were able to experience some amazing photographic opportunities. We had private access to the “Old Jail”, our own private rail car and mother nature treated us to some of the best fall colors I have ever seen.
Last month I photographed in the iconic Grand Central Terminal (aka Grand Central Station) in New York. I spent about 5 hours here and could have easialy spent another 5+ hours. Â This location screams for a fisheye lens. And as you can see, most of my images where produced with one.
A special thank you to Denise Ippolito who made all the arrangements for the day. Including a special tripod permit. A must for long exposures and any HDR work.
