I was in Jim Thorpe last Saturday exploring some new treasures. I have been there several times in the past. But, I was introduced to some new locations this time. All of the following images were taken with the new Olympus OM-D EM-5. Let me say, this is one amazing piece of equipment! I was expecting a lot and I can tell you, it surpassed all of my expectations.
During the InVision Photo Festival in Bethlehem, PA earlier this month, Dan’s Camera City put on a “Film Noir” workshop. It was incredible FUN! The two Aussies, who ran the program (Shelton & Glynn) made the program a blast and informative. Mike W. was kind enough to allow me to participate the one evening. This is a beautiful church ruin and cemetery near I78 in Union NJ.
A little over a week ago I was on a quest to photograph the Snow Geese at Middle Creek, PA. However, a lunch stop in Shartlesville, PA yielded a very unexpected result. I realized we passed the street I was looking for and turned down a small alley. To my surprise, we found this replica old time gas station. I only wish we could find gas prices from this era.
